We live in Quebec, Canada.
What are the breeds of your cats?
Both of our cats are rescues! Lou is a calico and Thalys is a tabby.
How old are your cats?
Since we adopted them, we can’t be sure but Lou is approximately 5 years old and Thalys is approximately 2 years old.

In a few short words/sentences, tell us about your cats' personalities.
Lou is calm but she has her energetic and crazy moments. She LOVES everyone and she is the kindest soul you could ever meet. She loves to cuddle and to sleep. She is also a real natures lover - she loves to go on adventures.
Thalys is a really energetic and athletic cat. She is the most affectionate cat ever when she gets comfortable with you. She loves to sleep ON us. Thalys is also very adventurous and confident in our adventures. She meows all the time and you can have a real conversation with her. She is a tiger and a teddy bear at the same time.
How have your cats transformed your life from the moment you've met them till now?
We are so much happier with them. They bring us so much joy and happy moments in our lives. Our home is filled with love and good energy since Lou and Thalys are living with us. We feel like a real family. We were really happy before them, but, now we’re even happier!
What do your cats mean to you?
They mean EVERYTHING to us. Lou and Thalys are literally our children and the loves of our lives. We couldn’t have wished for better cats. They’re our soulmates. Every day we want to offer them the best life as possible. They always make us happy! We share the same love of nature and adventure. We definitely learn from each other.
How did you and your cats first meet? Tell it to us in the form of a short story.
First, we adopted Lou in January 2020 at a shelter. We always wanted to adopt a cat and this day, everything happened so perfectly. We decided randomly to go at this shelter and it was love at first sight. The same story happened with Thalys in March 2020 and we fell in love instantly. The most important thing for us was the connection and it was undeniable for both of them.
What do you think your cats think of you?
Definitely family members. We know that the love we have for them is shared. Since both of them had difficult lives before us, we can feel that they are thankful for the life that we gave them.
Your cats are part of your family. What are some things they do that make you think that they consider you part of theirs?
When they are sleeping with us or cuddling with us, we feel like they choose to be with us. Also when we go on an adventure, they are so happy to be with us. It really is the simple gestures. We can’t really explain it, we just feel it.

Why do you feel that it is important to show the world that Cats are Family?
We think that cats are wonderful and sensible animals. They should be considered as equals with dogs. Cats are full of love and we think that the stereotypes around them should be reconsidered so people can see how wonderful they are. They are as important as any member of a family.
